Tokarii brings delicious hydroponic food to your doorstep!

In this blog post, I cover Tokarii, a quintessential food delivery brand from Gurgaon’s heartland, which aims to offer a communal experience, while driving excellence for supporting local artisans and small farmers through their cloud kitchen.

What are the odds that a musician would turn into a foodpreneur? If you think the chances are slim, wait until you’ve met Jatin Katyal, one of the co-founders of Tokarii. Showing amazing ingenuity in finding ways to bring homegrown, locally sourced, and freshly prepared food to your doorstep, Jatin introduces us to brand Tokarii, built upon the concept of cloud kitchen, with a unique approach that is sustainable and familiar yet innovative.

Besides Jatin, the other mastermind behind Tokarii is Aditya Kapoor. While Jatin leverages his father’s legacy of 25 years in the global organic food industry and six years of his own experience as a professional musician, Aditya brings in over a decade of experience in Japanese quality control at an automobile giant. The inspiration that drove Jatin and Aditya to launch Tokarii is their belief in bringing hydroponic food to a cultured millennial Gurugram audience.

Sliders

Delivery and design are the two USPs of the brand Tokarii, but if you were to ask me, the real difference lies in how they blend tried and tested recipes of yore with a chic style of eating healthy food. The brand focuses on modern recipes using natural ingredients, showcasing them with a flavorful punch.

Tokarii's Unique Packaging

Operational in Gurugram only, Tokarii promotes clean and healthy eating in equal measure. From sourcing ingredients to delivering food to customers, Tokarii aims to maintain ethical standards at every level.

Cherry Cheese Sliders

I was impressed with Tokarii’s succulent and delectable menu, and it’s not hard to know why. The menu is zesty, with inspiration from around the globe. Thoughtfully cooked food to please your gourmet taste buds is how I’d like to describe Tokarii’s menu.

The menu features signature dishes like the spicy crispy chicken sliders, mock meat sandwiches, and many more mouthwatering dishes topped with locally sourced Himalayan cheese. Start with the avocado and cherry tomatoes on a bed of lettuce or fattoush dill and zaatar salad. Try the Himalayan gruyere tomatoes and basil sandwich next. Other winners are the Guptaji aloo chat slider and the Dungar mutton slider. For your sweet tooth cravings, don’t forget the apple cinnamon pie slider.

Fattoush Dill and Zaatar Salad

Your order at Tokarii is sealed with an assurance of fresh quality ingredients - homegrown, sourced from local farmers - whether it is handmade seasoning, freshly baked bread, or artisanal cheese. Microgreens and vegetables through hydroponic farming ensure less space to grow food and water savings.

Tokarii’s online presence on popular food delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy makes access to their food extremely easy. Your food has no preservatives, delivered in bespoke packaging with the highest degree of hygiene standards and food safety measures at all engagement points.

While making their mark in the food industry, Tokarii intends to branch out into multiple avenues within the next two to three years. The brand is also coming up with a smart-casual dining experience, whose highlight will be a gastronomic menu that brings flavors from around the world and an interactive stage for musicians, comedians, poets, and upcoming chefs. Tokarii will showcase and support the talents of independent artists.

Finally, Tokarii is what finger-licking food should be, and you’re a bite away from experiencing all the goodness they have to offer.
