As I arrived at the hotel, I was immediately struck by the architectural beauty inspired by Le Corbusier's expressionist designs. The hotel effortlessly combines the city's past and present. The ambiance is stylish and functional and probably the best I've seen in a long time.

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the gracious hotel staff. Personally greeted by the General Manager, Executive Chef, and Marketing Manager, I was offered a refreshing drink that set the tone for a memorable stay. The check-in process was seamless, and my luggage was promptly delivered to my room, ensuring a flawless start to my visit.

A Room with a View
My room offered spectacular views of the city, a picturesque sight that set the tone for my stay. The fusion of modern architecture and traditional decor within the room was remarkable.

The eclectic furnishings and contemporary decor created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. One of my favorite features was the vintage minibar, stocked with a bespoke selection of spirits and handpicked Indian snacks. It was a delightful way to begin exploring Chandigarh's culture right from the comfort of my room.

The handwritten welcome note from the General Manager, accompanied by macarons, masala mathis, bonbon chocolates, and mango tart, added a personal touch, which I truly appreciated.
Culinary Delights
Dining at Hyatt Centric is an adventure in itself. My mornings started with breakfast at Corby's, a restaurant inspired by Le Corbusier's design philosophy. The menu was an eclectic mix of classic French cuisine and delectable Punjabi dishes.

The artisanal coffees and unique selection of teas (sourced from the Himalayan valleys) were the perfect companions to the flavorful breakfast spread. I particularly enjoyed the freshly poured lassies and smoothies made from seasonal fruits, adding a vibrant Punjabi touch to my meal.
For a taste of contemporary Asian cuisine, I dined at KOYO KOYO. The ambiance was captivating, and each dish was a masterpiece of flavors and textures.

The hotel offers various amenities designed for relaxation and convenience. The Viram Spa was a highlight of my stay, providing a range of premium international and ayurvedic treatments. After a day of exploring the city, stepping into the spa was pure bliss. The steam, sauna, shower, and locker facilities added to the luxurious experience, helping me unwind and rejuvenate.

The fitness center and pool were also impressive, providing excellent options for staying active during my stay. The hotel's business services, laundry, and meeting facilities cater to all travelers, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.

Staying at the Hyatt Centric puts you at the center of Chandigarh's action. Adjacent to the hotel, I explored the vibrant rose garden, sampled traditional delights from local street food vendors, and shopped at the new-age Sector 17 Shopping Plaza. The hotel's location is ideal for immersing yourself in the city's cultural attractions and entertainment options.
The Centric Lounge and In-Room Dining
The Centric Lounge was my go-to spot for a quiet unwind with artisanal tea or coffee. The diverse selection of freshly baked pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and light bites was perfect for satisfying any craving. Additionally, the in-room dining service was impeccable, offering a wide array of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and healthy food options around the clock. The convenience and food quality made dining in my room a delightful experience.

DeleteWe had spent a couple of days at the Bangalore Hyatt Centric as a staycation, when the brand was initially launched some years ago, and had a great experience. Reading your post and looking at the images, I can see that the brand has standardized on the ambience and decor of the Centric brand. The Chandigarh hotel looks almost like a duplicate of the Bangalore one.
