Experience the Artistry of Flavors: Chef Nishant Choubey's Gourmet Delights at Sattvik, Select Citywalk Mall, Delhi

In this blog post, I cover Sattvik's new gourmet menu curated by our very own Chef Nishant Choubey.

Delhi's culinary landscape is constantly evolving, and a gastronomic revolution is in full swing at Sattvik, one of the capital's most revered vegetarian restaurants. Chef Nishant Choubey, a visionary in the culinary world, has recently curated an exquisite gourmet cuisine, a masterpiece that tantalizes taste buds and celebrates the essence of fine dining. With an array of delectable dishes, Sattvik is all set to redefine your dining experience and take you on an unforgettable culinary journey.

What Are My Top Recommendations

My top recommendations at Sattvik include:

Jamun Chaat

A unique fusion of flavors, this appetizer elevates the classic Indian chaat to a whole new level. Succulent Jamun berries are combined with tangy chili makhanas, sliced raw mangoes, lemon wedges, coriander leaves, and an assortment of aromatic spices, creating a harmonious symphony of sweet, spicy, and tangy notes.

Raj Kachori

Get ready to indulge in the regal flavors of Rajasthan with Chef Nishant's Raj Kachori. Served upside down for a change, the crispy puri is stuffed with a medley of sprouts, sev, chutneys, avocado, and pomegranate seeds, giving you an explosion of textures and tastes in every bite. The culinary dahi foam makes the dish look much more appetizing.

Thai Corn Cake

Taking inspiration from Thai cuisine, Chef Nishant presents these delightful corn cakes. Golden-brown and crispy on the outside, while tender on the inside, these cakes are infused with aromatic Thai herbs and served with a zesty corn curry.

Sweet Potato with Kasundhi Butter Sauce

A true celebration of simplicity and flavor, this dish features perfectly roasted sweet potatoes drenched in a luscious Kasundhi butter sauce and Gochujang, a thick and spicy-sweet crimson Korean paste made from red chili pepper flakes, glutinous rice, fermented soybeans, and salt. A kitchen blowtorch was used to add a professional finishing touch to this exotic dish. The fusion of Indian spices, Korean ingredients, and European culinary techniques makes it an absolute palate-pleaser.

Chelo Inspired Jaituni Kathal Kebab

The Chelo Kebab gets a unique vegetarian twist with the infusion of jackfruit and Rajasthani spiced-up gravy. Served with fragrant Kesar Paratha, this dish is a symphony of aromatic spices and textures.

Teen Mirchi Ka Bhuna Paneer Tacos

For spice aficionados, these paneer tacos pack a punch of flavors with three different types of chili peppers. The succulent paneer is marinated with spices and stuffed inside soft tacos, creating a burst of heat and taste.

Sindhi Prune And Apricot Pulao

Embark on a journey to the land of Sindhi flavors with this delectable pulao. Fragrant basmati rice cooked with dried prunes, apricots, and whole spices offers a delightful balance of sweetness and warmth.

Focaccia Naan

The traditional Indian naan gets an Italian makeover with Chef Nishant's Focaccia Naan. Soft and pillowy, this bread is infused with herbs and olive oil, perfect for savoring with an assortment of chutneys and dips.

Mixed Seed Paratha

Nutrition and taste come together in this wholesome paratha. Loaded with various seeds, such as chia, flax, and sesame, this unleavened flatbread offers a delightful crunch and nutty undertones.

Mango Kunafeh

Indulge your sweet tooth with the luscious Mango Kunafeh. A Middle Eastern delicacy with a tropical twist, this dessert features layers of shredded phyllo pastry, filled with mango and ricotta, and topped with golden honey syrup. This dessert is best enjoyed with Chantilly Cream, which is a sweeter version of whipped cream.

Mango Sticky Rice

Bringing the essence of Southeast Asia to your table, Chef Nishant's Mango Sticky Rice is a divine combination of fragrant jasmine rice, fresh mango slices, dry coconut flakes, and creamy coconut milk, creating a heavenly dessert experience.

    1. I am a non-vegetarian, yet I enjoyed all the vegetarian dishes. Chef Nishant has purposely replaced meat with seasonal produce, making sure that vegetarians should not be left behind. Why should non-vegetarians have all the fun, isn't it?
