Crowne Plaza New Delhi Rohini Brings To You The Best of Spice Art

In this blog post, I cover the ongoing Best of Spice Art food festival at Hotel Crowne Plaza New Delhi Rohini.

For the uninitiated, Spice Art is a specialty fine-dining restaurant at Hotel Crowne Plaza New Delhi Rohini, awarded with the Times Food Awards for the 'Best North Indian Restaurant' three years in a row (2015, 2016, and 2017).

Spice Art

The restaurant is hailed for its North West Frontier cuisine, prepared by a team of highly skilled chefs led by Master Chef Hardev Singh.

On my first visit to Spice Art earlier this year, I was introduced to some of the best regional dishes from North India such as Kesar aur Khajoor ke Malai Koftey, Aloo Amritsari Wadi, Nalli Nihari, and special Biryani. Chef Hardev continued to surprise me even further with the most exceptionally crafted desserts like Hot Chocolate Gulab Jamun and Gulkand aur Chenne ki Jugalbandi.

Food Chaat

I visited the restaurant once again in November, this time for the 'Oudh-E-Jahan' food festival. Not only did I get a taste of the sumptuous Nawabi food, I also learned a great deal about the aromatic spices and slow-fire cooking associated with the Mughlai cuisine!

My favorite dishes included the Paneer Hazratganj, Sugandhi Mahi Tikka, and Chukunder ki Kheer.

Galawat Ke Kebab, Sugandhi Mahi Tikka, and Murgh Hazrat Mahal

Kathal Ke Kebab, Dalcha Kebab, and Khumb Kaju Ki Galawat

Enjoy a candle-lit evening with your loved one in the romantic setting of live ghazals and evergreen melodies by 'Mausiqui – The Band' - only at the Spice Art.

Gucchi Shatavari

On my last visit to the restaurant, I attended the long-awaited 'Best of Spice Art' food festival, which is taking place from November 25 to December 10 this year.

Nimbu Wala Murgh

Lahori Tali Macchi

Sunahri Kalmi Kebab

Do Chutney Bhara Paneer and Hare Matter Ka Tinka

A pure delight for food enthusiasts like me, the feast comprises of the most popular delicacies from Chef Hardev Singh's kitchen like Gular ke Kebab, Resha Galawat, Bhindi Singhara, Hare Matter ka Tinka, Do Din ki Dal, Makhmali Chenna, Chukandar Gosht Roganjosh, Lahori Macchi, amidst many more.

Panner Tikka

End your dining experience on a sweet note with exotic desserts like Lahsoon ki Kheer and Kali Gajar ka Halwa.

Sweet Paan

Coupled with best-in-class five-star service and immaculate hospitality, Spice Art has eventually become my favorite haunt in Delhi, especially on the weekends.
